Wedding Dress Run

Earlier this year Senior Payroll Administrator Emma was due to run the London Marathon. With the event postponed due to the global pandemic Emma decided to do something special to mark the occasion and ran 2.6 miles in her wedding dress (and Barnardo’s vest).

‘My goal is to raise at least, and hopefully smash my £2000 target for such an amazing charity.

I am so pleased and honoured to be running on behalf of Barnardo’s Children’s Charity who support the young, help with fostering and adoption, mental health, young carers and protect children against abuse and violence within their homes. 

Any donations the charity and I would be most grateful for and you know full well it’s going to make a difference to a young child's start in life. Childhood is where your life starts and we know how important it is and how it can impact the rest of your life so let’s help others have the great start in life we did!’
